The Body Shop Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser

I've been suffering with really bad dry skin at the moment which is something that is so out of my comfort zone! My problems are usually the other way around and it is too much grease but I think spending hours in the air conditioned library is taking a toll.
It was getting to the point where my skin was sore and bothering me, so I knew I had to pop to the Body Shop and ask for some expert advice.

I basically went in and was like 'Help me please my face is dry and it hurts' and the lovely lady gave me a few options that would help install the lovely glow back in my face.
I have never tried the Vitamin C range before, but I thought that it was worth a go and try it out. The website says:

'Say goodbye to grumpy, dull, fatigued looking skin with our Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser. This gel cream moisturiser helps:
  • Boost glow: Skin is clarified, revealing your natural healthy-looking glow
  • Energise: Fresh, lightweight formula fights signs of fatigue, with an invigorating fragrance
  • Hydrate: Infuses skin with juicy moisture
The thing that I love about this already is the texture, because it is a gel it is not super thick, cause that is something that bothers me about hydrating creams. It also feels cooling on the skin which is nice because of how sore and dry my skin is at the moment.
I also love the smell of this, as you can imagine by the bottle it smells like oranges and that to me is such a fresh scent especially for on the morning to wake you up.
I have to say, after a few days of use I can see a dramatic improvement in my skin that other moisturisers just weren't giving me. The redness has reduced and my skin is slowly gaining back its hydration. I'd say my favourite part of the product is just how quickly it sinks in to the skin and it doesn't leave behind and sticky residue.

This is available at the Body Shop online or in store retailing at about £16

  3. I occasionally get really bad dry skin in patches on my face and I always use the Dr Organic olive oil range, but this sounds fab! If I get a flare up of dry skin again, I will have to try it out x

  4. Have you tried the Vitamin C serum, it smoothes out your skin and it feels like a primer. I haven't tried the moisturizer yet but I sure will as I've been in love with the serum for a while now, I'm on my 3rd bottle.
