La Roche Posay Serozinc

I finally bought the Toner that everyone raves about...

This little blue spray bottle has really done the rounds in the blogging world, review after review, rave after rave. I finally bit the bullet and popped to my local boots in Eldon Square to get some. The first time I went, it was completely sold out - the woman said that she'd only stocked the shelves of it on the morning to!

If you're new to reading online blogs especially about skincare, you're probably thinking what the heck is she talking about... what is Serozinc?
Well,  it's a zinc solution that aims to cleanse and tone the skin. You lightly spray it over your face, or soak it in to a cotton pad and sweep over. The aim of it is to prevent oiliness and breakouts. It is also hypoallergenic and non perfumed.

I have combination skin, meaning that it gets oily in certain areas and normal/dry in others. What i'd say about this product is that it has really mattified my oily areas such as my T zone, however, my skin sometimes does feel a little dry and lacking in moisture now, but that could be to do with the autumn weather rather than this bottle.

Is it worth the hype? It's hard to say really, everyones skin is different and for me after using this I don't feel like its anything special, and it kind of does what it says on the tin and not much else.

DISCLAIMER: Some of my posts may contain PR samples which have been gifted to me from a brand, however if they are featured in my blog then all opinions are my own.

  1. I agree that it's not that special but it's really convenient to just spray this on your face. I really love this paired with the Effaclar Duo & although I have combination skin too, it's done wonders for my breakouts.
